Season’s Greetings 2025

We’ve Made It!

What a year 2025 has been! From a few lows to a few highs, it’s been a year full of excitement, change, and more than a few surprises. One of the biggest highlights for me – without question – was finally launching SOHO Admin Force.

After accepting that my day job (as I know it now) would likely be obsolete due to AI in a few years, I started changing directions. Taking courses in 2024, getting my business licensing and insurance squared away this past summer, and doing all the behind‑the‑scenes prep work, it’s officially here. And honestly? I’m proud of that. Now I just need to bring in more business in 2026 and I’ll be all set on the work front.

On the personal side, 2025 had its own bright spots. My little book, Uncle Jeff’s Once Upon a Time, recently hit #20 on the Amazon Children’s Fairy Tales, Folk Tales & Myths Collections chart – far beyond anything I ever expected that little project to do. That’s definitely another “happy” mark on the 2025 list.

Of course, not everything was perfect. Medically and home‑wise, a few things could have gone better. But shit happens – sometimes you step in it, and you either toss the shoes or wipe them off and keep going. I’m firmly on the “wipe them off” team.

What’s Ahead for 2026

So, what’s ahead for 2026? Honestly – a lot. I plan to continue the SOHO Admin Force rollout after the holidays, with a stronger shift toward Salesforce work. Salesforce has always been the core of what I’ve wanted to do, and this year I’m ready to lean into it fully. That means diving into advertising, marketing, and getting SOHO in front of the people who need it most.

I still work a day job for someone else, but my goal for 2026 is to bring that chapter to a close so I can focus on one job – SOHO Admin Force. To make that happen, I just need to bring in a few more clients and I’ll be able to start stepping away from the other role. The business model I built SOHO on is intentionally “loan‑free,” meaning the company carries zero debt and only basic operating expenses. That’s why I’ve kept the day job – but the finish line is finally in sight. Yay!!! LOL.

On a serious note, I don’t hate my current job. I can just clearly see that it’s winding down, and I want to be ahead of that curve instead of reacting to it.

On the personal side, I have several books in the works, and I’m pretty confident at least one of them will make its debut in 2026. I’m also working on some remixes for the band I was in back in the 80s and 90s – a fun little creative throwback project that I’m excited to revisit. Beyond that, I look forward to spending some quality time with my family and simply being present.

All in all, 2026 is shaping up to be a fun, productive, and transformative year.

Closing Out the Year

As I prepare to close the virtual SOHO office down for the holidays, I want to thank all of you who have taken a few minutes here and there to read my posts. I really appreciate it – and I appreciate you. For now, that’s a wrap on 2025 here. I’ll resume posting in January.

I wish you all a happy holiday season and hope you’re able to spend it with those who mean the most to you.

Jeff
